CHIADO AND BAIRRO ALTO
The bohemian side of Lisbon
Chiado is one of the most iconic neighborhoods of Lisbon, a traditional shopping area, a meeting point for artists and poets, a place to walk or take a coffee on one of the terraces.
Almost completely destroyed by a fire in 1988, Chiado was reborn from the ashes and is now one of the most cosmopolitan and bustling areas in the city.
Discover also the history of the peculiar Bica neighborhood, adapted to the slope with a network of steep streets and stairs that build its unique personality.
During the tour you´ll walk through the Bairro Alto, discovering the origins of this part of the city, currently known for its lively nightlife.
